It's a Start...

My first (hilarious) try at poetry and composition. Written in 2nd grade.

Circa 2011

LIMERICK

(using prepositions taught that week in class)

There was a circus elephant from Montana,

Who loved to wear a bandana.

It could balance on a ball,

Climb right up and over a wall,

And was always seen with a banana.

OUTER SPACE EXPLORER

I want to be an outer space explorer who finds a new planet for people to live on.

I will fly away with astronauts in a space shuttle. When I reach a distant planet in another galaxy, I will hoist the USA flag on it. I will study the gravity, air, water, soil, plants, and animals on it. I will make sure it is safe. I will name it Agramor. 🤣

I will return to Earth with the news of a new live-able planet.
